HOLLYWOOD - Actor-turned-California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has sparked controversy after claiming marijuana is not a drug. The Terminator star, 60, made the bizarre statement in a recent interview with GQ magazine--despite previously admitting to having smoked the illegal substance in the 1977 bodybuilding documentary Pumping Iron. He says, "I didn't take any drugs. That (marijuana) is not a drug. It's a leaf. "My heart was pumping iron, trust me." While marijuana for medical reasons is permitted in California, those found to be in possession of a small amount of the drug face a misdemeanor charge and a maximum $100 fine.
